Messages on The Hive Wall

This Week – 01/14/2009

Thirty Seconds to Mars is back in the rehearsal studio preparing for their upcoming Into the Wild World Tour, but there are many important causes around the globe that still need attention.

On Tuesday Haiti was struck by the largest earthquake ever recorded in the region.

This earthquake hit a major population center and was very devastating to the infrastructure.
If you are interested in supporting the hundreds of thousands of
victims of this natural disaster, take a moment to look at the options
we have outlined below.

UNICEF
UNICEF
is urgently appealing for emergency assistance to aid victims of a
devastating earthquake that rocked Haiti. Funds are needed to provide
safe water, temporary shelter systems and medical supplies. UNICEF’s
country office in Haiti and the regional office located in Panama has
deployed emergency teams to assess the situation and determine what the
additional emergency needs are for the people of Haiti.
